Louise Sergent - Co-Founder of Harmony Majorettes
Louise was always passionate about her majorettes, right from when her daughter Alex started out in 1991.
She loved everything about majorettes especially meeting new people and watching the troupe perform.
When her and Alex started Harmony in 1999 she was excited about forming a troupe that would be like a 'family', and that is exactly what she did.
She was at the head of the troupe for many memorable achievements, her proudest moment was when Harmony were named 'Overall Troupe' in the United Kingdom Federation of Majorettes in 2011.
In 2012, Louise was diagnosed with terminal cancer, which was a terrible blow to us all.
She continued to attend majorettes for as long as she could, and it brought her much joy during her last few months.
She sadly lost her brave battle in February 2014 which was a sad time for us all.
Louise was the heart of Harmony Majorettes and her wish was for us to continue without her, we have done this and are looking forward to the future with the support of our fantastic majorettes family.
